Sam "Send
a Miracle"
Sam, Susan’s previous horse, was a
Thoroughbred gelding off the track. This
horse was truly one of a kind. Sam, although has his moments as any horse can,
truly showed he wasn’t just any other horse. He was unique. Sam was kind,
caring and respectful to all whom he met. Susan took him in many shows and they
became a team.
Sadly, Sam became ill and took a turn for the worst. Susan did everything
possible. After returning from Tufts, Sam became the farm horse and loved by
all. Sam
always reminded Tattoo who was boss and Sam often helped him self to a snack.
Yet he was the still that kind caring horse at heart that you once saw in the
riding ring. Sam always seemed to put a smile on your face no matter the
situation. Anthony and Marissa were Sam’s best friends. Sam seemed to know
that he had to be gentle with Susan’s kids and other visitors. Sam
passed away, but he is happily watching the farm from above as he once did.
