Camp at White Spruce Farms

Our Camp program helps teach campers many things about horses, such as care, how to ride with balance and control, tack and equipment, safety and responsibility. Throughout our camp, campers will realize how majestic and remarkable these animals really are! Campers will learn plenty, yet at the same time they will have a fun time and making new friends. From doing arts and crafts to playing group games usually relating to horses, campers wont forget there time at White Spruce Farms Camps.
We will host day camps this year during school vacation in April and three weeks during the summer.  Camps include daily riding lessons, crafts, and instruction on horse and equipment care.  Camps run from 10 – 2 and costs $200.00 per week.  If you sign up for camp at our open house you will receive $20.00 off.  Arrangements can be made for campers to be dropped off early or picked up late from camp.

Advanced  Camp

Advanced camp is for the more advanced and skilled horseman. This camp is for all ages from adults to early teens. Think of it as a five day clinic. Were you will learn Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, Natural horsemanship techniques, lunging and ground training, equine massage, and more. The typical camp day will include a standard lesson in morning (English or Western) followed by lunch. Then the students will learn in a group setting about the following mentioned above, for example, one day students will get a lesson in and about dressage. The day will be finished with a group discussion on the days events, future events, questions and comments. This discussion we encourage to ask any unanswered questions or discuss/debate certain subjects. We have designed this program to help the passionate horseman learn the most she/he possibly can. Camp is from 10:00 to 1:00, this program is designed for adults and older teens, with or without a horse, so all are encouraged to join.
